Message from the Founder & CEO, Raju Mondol

Greetings!

I am Raju Mondol, the Founder of Faith Community United Charity Trust (FCUCT), and an employee of MAF Bangladesh as a Co-pilot. My journey towards creating FCUCT began during a time of crisis—the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many others, I witnessed the immense challenges people faced during those difficult days. Families struggling to put food on the table, children unable to attend school, and many individuals living in uncertainty and fear.

During the pandemic, I felt an overwhelming sense of responsibility and urgency to help those in need. The sight of so many families facing hunger, isolation, and economic hardship inspired me to take action. I knew I couldn’t stand by and do nothing. That’s when I decided to dedicate my life to serving the most vulnerable communities in Bangladesh.

This was the turning point when I founded Faith Community United Charity Trust (FCUCT)—an organization born from a simple yet powerful mission: to empower and support the underprivileged through education, health care, food relief, and crisis intervention.

Through FCUCT, we strive to bring hope and change to the lives of those living in poverty. Today, we have successfully opened four schools across Bangladesh, providing free education to children who would otherwise be denied this basic right. We are also working tirelessly to provide food relief, health support, and crisis assistance to those who need it the most.

Our organization is driven by the belief that no one should be left behind—whether in times of disaster, poverty, or neglect. Every child deserves an education, every individual deserves access to healthcare, and every family deserves a fair chance at a better future.

I am incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished so far, but we know there is still much work to be done. Together, with the support of our donors, volunteers, and partners, we are committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of countless individuals and families across Bangladesh.
